Paul's method of instruction is remarkably systematic, accessible and understandable. Each lesson builds directly and incrementally on the precise knowledge and skill gained in the previous session. After just two months of lessons, I have lost track of all the mini-epiphanies I have experienced while we work our way through previously uncharted terrain up the fret board. Paul not only shows you what to do, but also makes clear the elusive "why.”
Paul Wegmann was the greatest guitar teacher I ever had. He created a relaxed atmosphere where a student felt at ease, and also gave students the proper encouragement to learn more about their talents. As a producer and recording engineer, he was both fun and professional. He really pushed me and my band mates to our full potential and taught us all more about our instruments. During the recording, he even taught us some of ProTools, and would always explain what he was doing. He gave us all confidence in ourselves and it was such a joy to be around him.
Paul helped me out with my production in countless ways.  I wanted to have a backup band, but I couldn't afford to hire and record a lot of musicians.  Luckily, Paul was able to compose and perform rhythm, bass, and guitar tracks for my music.  Paul only composed music that supported the song stylistically, without taking over.  I also wanted lead sheets of my music so that other musicians that perform with me would be able to catch on, but I don't know how to read music.  Paul easily and affordably created detailed lead sheets of all of my songs.  Now everyone in my band is on the same page.
"I've been taking guitar lessons from Paul for about one year now. In my time studying with Paul I've really gained a far deeper understanding of music theory and how chords and scales relate to each other on the guitar. Paul has helped me expand my playing repertoire and improve my technique. The best parts of my lessons with Paul are the "aha!" moments when what we are practicing brings together things I had always seen as separate on the guitar. Paul teaches by meeting me where I am with my skills, technique and understanding, and works with me to follow my interests and expand my horizons. Because of taking lessons with Paul my own practice on the guitar has become much more fun and satisfying."
I prefer Paul’s lessons to any other because he let’s you be original. I’ve always had my own style, but it’s been suppressed. Here, I can really let it out while I’m free soloing over other songs. Of course, I can play the rhythm parts of those songs too.
